A fascinating article, Mike! I have followed Canadian military history for decades and didn’t realize these heroes existed. I have read numerous accounts of British SOE operations and nary a word. As a teenager I read “Dieppe: The Shame and the Glory” by Terence Robertson. And still remember the definition of the title. If you haven’t read it, I certainly recommend it.
