Given how most vehicles manufactured for the Canadian market are required to meet rigorous safety standards, is there any indication the CCP's spymobiles are being tested or is it one of those "Trust me, brah!" situations?

Transport Canada certifies safety like always. Yet the Public Safety Minister assured a Commons committee of safeguards against data going to China. Experts say we still have no solid system for that. Feels like we're winging it on the security side.

No disincentive for the Public Safety Minister to lie his face off since Liberals don't resign when they're caught in lies, conflicts or ethics violations.
