I'd hate to have a federal politician defining me. I'm glad he's sticking in his lane.

I feel like the last 10 years has stripped about our national identity. We as a people need to have one aside from just having everyone be their own nationality within Canada. We need to be Canadians. People that come together from all over to be Canadians.

I don't feel less Canadian than I did ten years ago. Do you personally feel that way, or are you worried about this on a theoretical basis? I suspect it's your very feeling of Canadian-ness (however that is defined) that makes you even worry about the issue. I think Trump has demonstrated to all of us how we feel connected.

That is a good point. I don’t feel less Canadian. I think it’s a side effect of social media. I’m still detoxing from dropping all social media. It’s been two weeks now. Amazing how much clearer you can think about real life.
