Hansard, thank you for this important update. It shows the Senate is unafraid to tackle the nation’s biggest threats.

Senator Yuen Pau Woo is not a voice I would amplify. His connection to the the Chinese Communist Party may be stronger than his connection to Canada.

It seems the only subject Woo ever preaches is China=Good; ignore the evidence of your eyes.

Question: How do MPs feel the impact of the debates and speeches in the senate? How are they presented with the Senate’s proceedings?

MPs feel the Senate's debates most when amendments arrive by message. The Speaker reads those aloud in the Commons chamber, then MPs debate whether to accept the changes. I checked the procedure guide on http://ourcommons.ca. It keeps legislation tight between both houses. See the full process here: https://www.ourcommons.ca/procedure/our-procedure/LegislativeProcess/c_g_legislativeprocess-e.html
